I was invited to display my work at Cornell University in Ithaca as part of the architecture department exhibition hall.
Each of the 6 double sided Japanese Moleskin Notebooks are stretched along the walls at eye level, complimented with a selection of travel photography below.

The photography was printed to match the exact height of the notebooks and aligned below. The notebooks, each stretching eleven feet long, create a series of horizontal datums with breaks in between . In contrast, the photographs create a uninterrupted staccato rhythm below.

Each medium has its own qualities to offer: the color photographs have a sharp contrast and provide a more visually tactile experience of the textures; the drawings distort perspective to provide encompassing views, and the detail is carefully curated.
