The site is an abandoned white marble quarry in southern Spain. Approaching the pinnacle of the mountain from a distance, the marble feels like a secret, buried in the earth and forgotten. Only glimpses are visible for afar.
The jagged cuts from the extraction machinery form a zig-zag stepping terrace, as if the mountainside is being broken into still giant facades. Large rust colored veins run through the pure white  like streaking rain drops.
