Photography from my travels in Tuscon, Arizona with a focus on the landscape

Landscape conveys a feelings of openness. It reminds me of the grandeur of space, what it feels like to stretch your arms wide and still feel small. It reminds me that I know nothing of the forces at work. It reminds me that time is relative, and we are merely passing through.
The particular color of the earth in Tuscon was inspiring. There was a rawness to the bare cactus spikes and uncovered cliff faces. The clouds on this particular day provided a contrasting texture of their own. The soft painterly blue and white floats above the chiseled mass.
